1- مطلوب مدير مشروع 


 
Project Admin
  • Title: Project Admin- Part-Time
  • Place: POD Office, Deir Al Balah 
  • Period: 6 months 
  • Reports to: Project Manager (PM)

Tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Assists in the preparation of monthly project work plans and arranges relevant planning meetings within the office and with counterparts.
  2. Facilitates preparation of project review meetings, drafts minutes of meetings;
  3. Assist in the logistical and managerial preparation for all project required supplies and equipment.
  4. Ensures that all official documents are prepared and kept in the project files for retrieval and archiving;
  5. Facilitates project activities and relevant missions, by arranging meeting schedules, coordinating logistical support, collecting reference documents, and maintaining records;
  6. Perform any other tasks required by the Project Manager. 

Qualifications:

  1. University degree in business administration, Accounting or other relevant filed;
  2. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in NGO;
  3. Proficiency in the use of office equipment;
  4. knowledge of MS Office;
  5. Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic;
  6. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  7. Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels;
  8. Ability to work under pressure and within a team.

2- موظف تقييم ومراقبة


 
MEAL Monitor (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning)
 
  • Title: MEAL Monitor (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) - Full-Time
  • Place: POD Office, Deir Al Balah 
  • Period: 6 months 
  • Reports to: Project Manager (PM)

Tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Develop and/or update M&E tools, databases and monthly reporting formats in close collaboration with the MEAL focal points/sectoral managers;
  2. Support the staff in mobile data collection; using the organization system;
  3. Conduct data audits and analysis to ensure high quality data, compile a report with relevant indicator data per grant, showing targets versus actuals and an action plan and send this to the Field Coordinator, MEAL Manager, and Technical Managers and Coordinators on a monthly basis;
  4. Beneficiary counting: a quarterly gender and age disaggregated overview per grant per sector should be provided;
  5. Advise staff on data management and storage to field staff;
  6. Manage the development of effective and sustainable feedback mechanisms to POD from program beneficiaries/stakeholders;
  7. Monitor overall project implementation and provide feedback for Field Office staff;
  8. Ensure relevant, timely, and quality support to the Field Office on assessments and evaluations; i.e. support in developing the survey tools, data analysis and report writing;
  9. Provide documentation and dissemination of key findings stemming from monitoring, assessment, and other learning activities;
  10. Track and ensure organized, comprehensive electronic filing of documented findings/analyses;
  11. Perform any other tasks required by the Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. University degree required in international development, statistics, economics, sociology, or related field or other related field;
  2.  At least two years’ experience of working in M&E with experience of developing M&E plans, training staff, capacity building, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting and/or other aspects of M&E in both emergency and development contexts and humanitarian and development programs;
  3. MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Power Point, Spread sheets and other Statistical software;   
  4. Thorough familiarity with principles and current approaches to M&E using both quantitative and qualitative methods;
  5. Understanding of donor expectations and trends for M&E;
  6. Knowledge and/or experience of working on accountability initiatives, information sharing and complaints response mechanisms;
  7. Highly developed communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching;
  8. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods;
  9. High level of English-language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
