1- Field Monitor - Bayader 

Job summary: 

  • Position Title: Field Monitor (FM)
  • # of Position Available: 3
  • Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis
  • Reports To: Project Manager (PM)
  • Period: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the supervision, follow-up and monitoring of program activities in the field as assigned by the PM.
  2. Identify key local organizations, and communities to plan and jointly conduct outreach events and activities Coordinate the daily progress of the program activities and provide regular on-site supervision of activities implementation.
  3. Conduct site visits and apply field visits data collection tools 
  4. Conduct regular field visits to the beneficiaries and host organization.
  5. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and undertake monitoring activities.
  6. Contribute to the development of program work plans.
  7. Contribute to the identification of potential difficulties and determining means of lessening or avoiding them.
  8. Documenting all program phases.
  9. Perform any other tasks assigned  by PM.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. University degree in international development, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, or related field.
  2. Minimum two years of progressively responsible work experience in the field of development, preferably with USAID-funded projects.
  3. Significant experience working on humanitarian assistance, livelihoods projects required.
  4. Good writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  5. Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  6. Proven ability to develop progress reports.
  7. Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
  8. Demonstrated strengths in relationship management; able to work with diverse groups of people in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
  9. Understands and works with local contexts (operational and cultural).
  10. Resident of Khan Younis governorate.

2- MEAL Monitor - Bayader


Job summary: 

  • Position Title: MEAL Monitor (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning)
  • Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis
  • Reports To: Project Manager 
  • Period: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working closely with CRS MEAL Team, standards, policies, practices and indicators.
  2. Provide training to concerned program staff on the use of MEAL tools; conduct rapid assessments and trend analysis of field-based programs to monitor program activity.
  3. In collaboration with CRS MEAL Team and project officers will manage and administer all program’s related baseline survey starting from data collection, compiling of data and write reports accordingly.
  4. Contributes to the design and implementation of periodic evaluation activities including baseline surveys, research and evaluations.
  5. Collect good quality monitoring data in a timely manner and organize data received for reporting to the Project Manager and CRS MEAL Team.
  6. Produce monitoring checklists and conduct quarterly joint field process monitoring, quality assessment and data validation, and provide feedbacks and recommendations for timely improvement.
  7. Develop capacity of project staff on the program M&E framework, data management, and data analysis and results‐oriented programming, monitoring and evaluation methods and principles and reporting systems.
  8. Ensure that vulnerable community members are actively participating in all Project and MEAL activities.
  9. Organize and facilitate quarterly monitoring, progress review and learning events.
  10. Make sure the utilization of appropriate reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of data and maintain effective database.
  11. Participate in all other aspects of MEAL, for example surveys, baselines, evaluations, joint projects monitoring and reviews / lessons learning workshops/events.
  12. Together with the Project Manager and coordinators, undertake accountability activities, including the development and use of information sharing materials and the establishment of complaint response mechanisms, ensuring that complaints are logged and addressed in a professional and timely manner and that serious complaints relating to abuse, exploitation and corruption and referred appropriately.
  13. Undertake regular visits to field locations to support monitoring and evaluation processes and develop and implement accountability processes. 
  14. Perform any other tasks required by the Program Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. University degree required in international development, Statistics, Economics, Sociology, or related field or another related field.
  2. At least two years’ experience of working in M&E with experience of developing M&E plans, training staff, capacity building, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting and/or other aspects of M&E in both emergency and development contexts and humanitarian and development programs.
  3. MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Power Point, Spread sheets and other Statistical software. 
  4. Thorough familiarity with principles and current approaches to M&E using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  5. Understanding of donor expectations and trends for M&E.
  6. Knowledge and/or experience of working on accountability initiatives, information sharing and complaints response mechanisms.
  7. Highly developed communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching.
  8. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  9. High level of English-language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).

3- Project Manager - Bayader 

Job summary: 

  • Position Title: Project Manager (PM)
  • Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis
  • Reports To: Executive Director 
  • Period: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the overall management of the project, including timely implementation, budget management, staff management, capacity building, and staff career development
  2. Effectively supervise the Project Coordinators, Field Monitors and MEAL Monitor.
  3. Coordinate all activities related to the project, including procurement, community mobilization, beneficiary selection and employer relationship management.
  4. Provide technical oversight to Livelihood and Humanitarian Assistance activities.
  5. Monitor all aspects of the project, including implementation and expenditures.
  6. Utilize monitoring and evaluation tools to measure project outputs and impact.
  7. Maintain adequate administration and filing systems.
  8. Write reports in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure Program Quality standards.
  10. Ensure accountability to project beneficiaries and local stakeholders.
  11. Actively identify opportunities for innovation and project adaptation to improve impact.
  12. Take part in regular team, program and staff meetings.
  13. Ensure the timely implementation of all Performance Management steps, including Performance Development Plans, Coaching, and Performance Appraisals.
  14. Ensure compliance with CRS policies and procedures, including those of administration, procurement and finance.
  15. Ensure compliance with donor-specific regulations.
  16. Perform any other tasks and duties as necessary throughout the life of the program.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. University degree in international Development, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, or related field.
  2. Minimum Five years of progressively responsible work experience in the field of development, preferably with USAID-funded projects. Significant experience working on humanitarian assistance, livelihoods projects required.

4- Trainer Field Monitor - Bayader


Job summary: 

  • Position Title: Trainer Field Monitor (FM)
  • Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis
  • Reports To: Project Coordinator 
  • Period: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a joint on-the-field visit, interview, and select potential beneficiaries based on vulnerability criteria as defined by Bayader and CRS..
  2. Organize “orientation” sessions with selected beneficiaries to make sure of their level of commitment and self-discipline as well as his/her willingness to grow with his/her activity throughout their internships.
  3. Plan  and organize training sessions timelines.   
  4. Deliver basic management and complementary trainings (job readiness training ) to selected beneficiaries,  The training sessions will be delivered either virtually or in- person according to the pandemic situation progress.
  5. Ensure that beneficiaries understand and implement training contents and acquired knowledge through regular and individual follow-up field visits, and mentorship visits during their internships.
  6. Maintain high quality of training.
  7. Jointly implement and coordinate monthly activities with project teams and relevant stakeholders
  8. Jointly assess the specific training needs. 
  9. Identify and report success stories for communication purposes.
  10. Conduct site visits and apply field visits data collection tools

  4. Knowledge of livelihoods programming, with focus on income generating activities, internship, leadership, entrepreneurship and business development.
  5. Experience as personal / motivation coach/mentor, preferably with heterogeneous groups of people.
  6. Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
  7. Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel).

5- Project Coordinator - Bayader  

Job summary: 

  • Position Title: Project Coordinator (PC)
  • Place: Bayader Office, Khan Younis
  • Reports To: Project Manager 
  • Period: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative and technical implementation and follow up of the program activities.
  2. Supervision of technical and professional staff involved in the program activities that fall within his/her responsibility.
  3. Ensure that all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations.
  4. Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper implementation of the activities on the ground.
  5. Prepare periodical reports as requested by Bayader  and donor in consultation with the Program Manager.
  6. Assist the Program Manager in monitoring and evaluating the program by reporting to donor on the program deliverables.
  7. Contribute to the development of new program ideas in the field of work.
  8. Document all activities of the program and maintain an efficient program filing system including all program related documents.
  9. Perform any other tasks assigned  by the Program Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or other related field.
  2. Three years of professional experience in project management, preferably with experience in working with NGO's.
  3. Knowledge of USAID regulations and compliance.
  4. Professional level in both Arabic and English language skills.
  5. Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
  6. Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  7. Advanced computer literacy.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
  9. Resident of Khan Younis governorate.
