Org. Setting and Reporting
The incumbent of this post is responsible to the Projects Officer.
Responsibilities
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:
- (A)Assists the Projects Officer in identifying and reviewing project needs, prepares individual project proposals and maintains the Field's project master list including projects office projects tracking and PSO SharePoint site;
- (B)Coordinates and follows up on project implementation with the programme and concerned service departments and in reporting to the Projects Officer any delays or problems hindering the implementation of projects;
- (C)Monitor assigned projects and budgets and take action as needed (funding allocations, preparation of budget breakdowns, review and oversee the preparation of budgetary reports closure of grants, etc.).
- (D)Coordinates with the respective stakeholders to ensure the continuity in execution of the project activities; Provide advice and guidance on requirements for programme planning and budget formulation, including staffing;
- (E)Coordinates with the concerned department in drafting project proposals, project progress and final reports;
- (F)Monitors and controls financial expenditure of projects in coordination with the
- Administrative Officers of the programme and service departments, the Field Finance Officer and HQ Finance Department. Assists the Projects Officer in developing alternative plans in coordination with the departments to utilize balance of funds remaining after the completion of projects;
- (G)Collects data and information on the progress of project implementation for use in the monthly monitoring report;
- (H)Draft, review and edit reporting to the donor and visibility products, based on substantive inputs from programs to ensure relevance and appropriate communication style. Contribute to and provide inputs to internal reporting requirements and planning frameworks. (I)Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Education
- University degree from an accredited institution in Science, Social Science, engineering, Business Administration, International Development or other related field.
Job Specific Qualifications
Work Experience
- At least three years of relevant experience in grants management, project management, project coordination and/or fundraising and donors' relation. preferably in the international development or humanitarian sector; work experience with UN or international organization is strongly preferred.
- Computer Skills: Good knowledge of MS applications: Word, Excel, SharePoint.
- Good knowledge in project cycle management, including M&E
Languages
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Conditions of service
- -Type of Contract: Limited Duration Contract
- - Duration of Contract: 12 months, with possibility of renewal depending on performance and availability of project funds.
Conditions of service:
Monthly basic salary of JOD1,025.30.
