Expected duration
- The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
- Remuneration for this consultancy will be 1,600 USD, depending on the fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- The incumbent can be in any UNRWA field of operations (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank).
Duties and Responsibilities
- • Be the security focal point to support users.
- • Manage safes and platforms.
- • Manage policies.
- • Manage users and groups
- • Assist in onboarding accounts in a bulk fashion.
- • Automate the discovery and onboarding of accounts.
- • Monitor and unlock accounts.
- • Reset and resync CyberArk's component accounts
- • Ensure the password rotation is successful.
- • Automate management activities using APIs.
- • Create reports for management.
- • Create procedures for standard tasks that can be offloaded to other support teams.
- • Ensure the platform is updated and functional.
- • Monitor DR sync.
- • Perform BCP and DR planned activities
- • Integration with identity platforms.
- • Integration with ServiceNow.
- • Possess outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues and providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products (including document organization and technical writing).
- • Provide other ad hoc support as required.
Qualifications/special skills
Academic Qualifications:
● A university degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, computer science, or other related disciplines
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years for a master’s degree in managing a CyberArk PAM solution.
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in maintaining a CyberArk PAS on-premises solution.
- Experience in installing and configuring CyberArk components.
- Knowledge of how SSH and RDP protocols work.
- Demonstrate background in deploying security solutions.
- Experience with APIs to automate tasks.
- Experience with integrating identity solutions.
- The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
- Exposure to both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
- Experience in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
- Experience in the cluster and load-balancing solutions.
- Knowledge of integrating MFA solutions.
- Configure access to web applications.
DESIRABLE Qualifications
- CyberArk Privileged Access Security certified, minimum level 2.
