This is a work from home opportunity that requires access to a broadband internet connection or a clear cellular data connection, and a dedicated quiet area. At this time this position is open to all applicants over age 21 anywhere. We are seeking to fill multiple positions for this role. We are looking for multiple languages:
- English
- Russian
- Ukranian
- -Must speak, understand, read and write both English/Russian/Ukranian and Arabic (and, if applicable, a 3rd language) at a professional level.
- -Knowledge of medical terminology in both English/Russian/Ukranian and Arabic (and, if applicable, a 3rd language).
- -One year or more experience interpreting required.
- -High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- -Note-taking skills and attention to detail required.
- - Interpreter Training preferred
Responsibilities:
- -Interpret for medical appointments with an English speaking medical provider and an Arabic speaking patient (and/or a third language, if applicable).
- -Interpret non-medical appointments.
- -Follow interpreter protocol for to maintain professionalism and interpreter transparency.
- -Follow applicable laws and regulations (including HIPAA) to maintain the privacy and security of all parties.
