Business Analyst - UNRWA

The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
Remuneration for this consultancy will be on 1,490.30 USD depending on the fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
The incumbent can be in any UNRWA field of operations (Gaza, Jordan).

Assists the education Business Service Manager in systems analysis for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of the Agency software applications;
Prepares technical documentation to capture user requirements and detailed system and programme specifications;
Proactively communicates with business counterparts to ensure that detailed system requirements / specification documents are captured and documented comprehensively;
Communicates the need for fixes and changes to the vendor support team and proactively follows up to progress the fixes / changes through to implementation;
Undertakes testing on delivered fixes / changes against functional requirements / specifications and provides feedback for any changes required;
Supports end users with user acceptance testing of changes / fixes;
Provides end-user support;
Assists in preparation of instruction manuals and other documentation for the systems and application(s) to which assigned;
Assists in developing training material and conducting training of trainers for associated trainers working with users of applications to which assigned;
Performs other duties as required.

A university degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, business, business analytics, management or related discipline
A minimum of 4 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years for a master’s degree in IT Business Analyst or equivalent experience in IT Applications development.
