Junior Projects Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead project planning, coordination, and meetings with partner organizations and donor as necessary
  2. Preparation of detailed and effective project action plans for project activities
  3. Ensure all projects activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations
  4. Create and implement detailed work plans needed to successfully complete the project
  5. Conduct periodical field visits to verify project activities are implemented according to contractual targets
  6. Ensure that all projects’ staff have clearly defined objectives and understand their responsibilities
  7. Establish result-based work planning and follow up system
  8. Lead the development of communication and visibility materials for the program
  9. Ensure that all donor branding and visibility requirements are fulfilled
  10. Responsible fundraising activities and proposal writings
  11. Write project’s reports for the donor in accordance with their guidelines and in a timely manner
  12. Prepare technical and financial report for management review and submitted on time
  13. Ensure monitoring of all ongoing programs and activities
  14. Monitor all project progress against the action-plan and budget, and ensure necessary adjustments are made when needed

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree in English business administration, English studies, or any relevant field
  2. Requires a minimum of 1 years relevant experience in the NGO sector
  3. Proven record of success and mastering project management cycle and donor communication
  4. Accomplished level in key competencies; delivering results, networking and influencing and cooperation Rights-based approach and participatory approach 
  5. Proven experience and training in Monitoring and Follow up
Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to perform in stressful situations with tight deadlines are essential
  • Proficiency in English is highly desired
