Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Architect and implement solutions on Azure technologies (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Integration Hub) seamlessly within UNRWA environment.
  2. Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
  3.  Lead the development of business products and custom solutions that deliver business value to UNRWA
  4. Develops architecture to include the integration between Digital Learning Platform and Microsoft 365 platform in line with the business requirements.
  5. Serve as the go-to technical lead for UNRWA Microsoft-based business solutions
  6. Lead technical, integration and data migration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions.
  7. Articulate and demonstrate the possibilities of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Cloud technologies to create new line-of-business applications
  8. Perform other duties as may be required.

Education

  • A university degree or master's degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience for a bachelor's degree and 8 years for a master's degree in developing and implementing solutions based on Microsoft Power Platform, including custom development, deployment, operations, and maintenance support, in which 5+ years of technical experience with Microsoft technologies (for example - .Net, C#, VB.Net, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure) and at least 2 years of experience in building Power Platform based applications (PowerApps, Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
  • Experience integrating external data and systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

Contract Conditions.

  • Type of Contract: Fixed Term Appointment
  • Duration of Contract: 3 years including 1 year probation period, with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need.

Conditions of service:

  • The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
  • Remuneration for this consultancy will be $ 1,955.00 and depend on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • The incumbent will be only in Gaza.
