About EducAid

EducAid is an International Non-Governmental Organization established in Italy in March 2000 and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It promotes the rights of Persons with Disabilities in various countries, including the Occupied Palestinian Territories, through interaction with associations, social enterprises and enthusiastic individuals ethically involved in the educational and social work. Its mission is to prevent and reduce the disadvantages and obstacles of individuals with disabilities or those who live in social and cultural difficulties. Additionally, EducAid seeks to build the capacity of the individuals and institutions in terms of education through different means but most notably by building an educational system where all the resources in the community thrive through the education system. Furthermore, EducAid aims to ensure the ultimate respect of human rights, in particular the rights of children, persons with disabilities and minority groups, and to encourages policies oriented to gender equality.

Job Purpose:

Working closely with all the team involved in the project. Under the supervision of the Education Coordinator and the Project Manager, and will be responsible for the technical Execution of education activities, according to the schedule defined by the project.

Duties & Responsibilities (Job Description)

In particular, the educator will:

1. Implementation of the project activities by providing input for planning and execution of activities in order to ensure that the results of the project are achieved within the set execution deadline.
2. Provide the necessary technical input in the educational activities in order to achieve the project’s technical performance.
3. Contribute to change and strengthen the capacities of partners in order to contribute to the improvement of their organization, processes, and systems and of their staff’s competencies.
4. participating in project field activities
5. Implement, follow up, and project implementation in assigned schools closely with school management and supervisors.
6. Ensure keeping accurate records of project data.
7. Collaborate with partners in the implementation of approved activities and ensure their implementation is in accordance with the agreed planز
8. Collect data in relation to core tasks and contribute to the measurement of the progress made.
9. Contribute to planning and preparing project activities reports
10. Undertake any other task assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of education projects.
3. Excellent knowledge of Inclusive Education.
4. Excellent knowledge of computer and digital applications.
5. Excellent knowledge of participatory approach
6. Very good knowledge of English is required.
7. Knowledge of INGO procedures.
8. Ability to work in a team and under pressure and against deadlines.
9. Communication skills combined with a high degree of patience and cultural sensitivity.
10. Highly organized and able to work respecting deadlines
11. Strong sense of responsibility
12. Ability to work with partners, civil society organizations, or public authorities
