Accountant - Ramallah

Tasks: 

  1. Prepare invoices and document payments.
  2. Manage the day-to-day functioning of the finance section, including cash disbursements, cash receipts, etc
  3. Process all financial transactions in an accurate and timely fashion.
  4. Prepares all monthly reconciliation statements, including suppliers, bank and cash reconciliation.
  5. Review petty cash payments and ensure proper supporting documents are attached.
  6. Following up the collection and customer accounts periodically.
  7. Follow up with income tax consultant, and prepare all tax forms, payments in compliance with laws and regulations.
  8. Analyze financial data – and create financial simple models for decision support.
  9. Prepare financial reports as needed by the Executive Director, board of directors, different departments, and local authorities.
  10. Cooperating with auditors in preparing audit reports.
  11. Any other related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, professional designation (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  2. 5 years of hands-on experience, preferably with public accounting firms.
  3. Strong analytical skills, reporting, advanced MS Excel skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, oral and written.
  5. Ability to prepare financial plans and financial analysis.
  6. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  7. Hands-on experience with accounting software
