Administrative Assistant - BYU - Jerusalem Center "Jerusalem"

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
  2. Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support visitors.
  3. Carry out administrative and secretarial duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc...
  4. Maintain supplies inventory, placing and expediting orders from suppliers and storing supplies.
  5. Maintain office filing system, data management and organization of reports.
  6. Provide assistance with procurement and accounts.
  7. Provide support for the human resources department: payrolls, insurance, time-log, etc…
  8. Provide assistance for the academic program. Make travel arrangements and reservations for groups and individual visitors.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  1. High School Diploma: additional qualifications in Office Administration or College Degree are a plus.
  2. High level skills in relevant software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  3. Strong networking and organizational skills, hard-working, driven, attentive to details and with a positive attitude.
  4. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, pro-active, patient, and service-oriented with a can-do approach.
  5. Familiarity with office equipment like printers, scanners and video-conferencing etc..
  6. Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  7. High proficiency in both Arabic and Hebrew (essential).
  8. Jerusalem resident with Jerusalem ID holder.
  9. Previous experience in office work.
