- Job Title: Project Manager
- Type of Contract: National Personnel Service agreement
- Duty Station: Ramallah
- Duration of Contract: 12 months with the possibility to extend based on fund availability and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective project management by maintaining the delivery of appropriate technical, operational, financial and administrative outputs, while tracking the project’s progress through monitoring, evaluation.
- Coordination and building strong partnerships with the implementing partners and relevant stakeholders.
- Preparation and finalization of Project related reports as well as Corporate reports.
- Knowledge sharing and other relevant responsibilities pertaining to the implementation of assigned activities and contribution to the office’s overall programmatic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills and Experience:
Min. Education requirements:
- Master’s degree in Governance, Public Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, or related fields OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Governance, Public Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, or related fields with additional 2 years of relevant experience will be given due consideration in lieu of Master’s degree.
Min. years of relevant work experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree in managing development projects, including financial, budget, risk, staff, as well as quality management
Required skills:
- Proven experience in working with the Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and bilateral and multilateral donors is required.
- Experience in project management (including results-based management, finance, HR, and procurement) is required.
- Excellent use of project management software and Microsoft applications is required.
Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section:
- Knowledge of the UN system and familiarity with UNDP procedures would be an asset.
- Previous experience with international (public or private sector) organizations is desirable.
- Previous experience working with Human Rights, as well as Youth and Women Serving Civil Society Organizations is desirable.
Required Language(s):
- Fluency in both English and the Arabic language.
