Candidate description
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Accountancy, Financial Management or Administration or related area.
- Expertise in accounting and finance and good knowledge in accounting software (AGRESSO).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, or administration departments.
- Knowledge of Admin procedures is compulsory and Knowledge of donor’s guidelines (ECHO, EU, UNICEF, ACCD, GAC, etc.) a strong advantage.
- Experience in dealing with major humanitarian donors and donor compliance issues.
- Experience in tax management, local partners management and team management. Previous working experience in NGO, knowledge of project cycle management, data protection, auditing and compliance.
- Good planning and monitoring skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communications skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously in close coordination with the other AAH departments in the base.
- Professionalism – Sense of confidentiality.
- Solid organizational skills: the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Computer skills in MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint and internet, Excellent experience in Excel).
How to Apply:
100,131 ILS gross/ year divided in 12 payments. In addition, Action Against Hunger covers food and transportation allowances for a fully worked month.

Candidate description
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, information technology, education, economics, or relevant field with at least five years of experience.
- Evidence-based knowledge in principles, tools, and practices of monitoring and evaluation programs.
- Knowledge in statistics / ME activities & design
- Knowledge of commonly used probability and purposive sampling techniques
- At least five years of experience in emergency, humanitarian, or development context; monitoring, and evaluation.
- Strong results orientation, and analysis skills.
- Ability to present complex monitoring information
- Highly developed communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and experience in working with and coordinating with international and national NGOs.
- Experience in data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and reporting skills.
- Previous field experience in assessments, data gathering, interviews, and information triangulation/verification
- Previous experience conducting focus group discussions would be an asset
- Experience with hardware, software such as ODK, KOBO, POWER BI, etc.…, and computer systems and processes.
- Very good in reading, writing, and speaking both Arabic and English
- Solid organizational skills: the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Valid driving license and proven driving skills.

- Knowledge of Admin procedures, accounting, and finance. is compulsory.
- Previous working experience in NGOs or INGOs is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting, finance bookkeeping, and archiving.
- Basic Knowledge of Logistics
- Knowledge of donor’s guidelines (ECHO, EU, UNICEF, AECID, OCHA . etc.) is an advantage
- Experience in working with Agresso accountancy software is a plus.
- Experience in the appropriate bank and cash management. Accounting cycle.
- Basic experience in budgeting and budget management.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Computer skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and internet, command Excel)
