Corporate Lawyer - Ooredoo Palestine "Ramallah"

Role Summary: 

The Corporate Lawyer shall perform various responsibilities such as providing contract advice and guidance, preparing, and reviewing of contracts requested by the company’s departments to assure that all contracts meet the requirements and standards of Ooredoo Palestine.

The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible of supporting all aspects of the business by providing timely commercial legal advice

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Draft and review different types of contracts (Arabic and English), with high quality.
  2. Provide contractual advice including interpretation, termination, extension, amendment, liability and legal consequences of any commercial decisions taken.
  3. Draft and review legal opinions (Arabic & English).
  4. Assist with managing litigation including managing external legal consultants / lawyers.
  5. Conduct legal research.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum two years of experience in contracts preparation.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in law
  3. High organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work in a group and to lead group discussions.
  5. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  6. Ability to work with foreign companies and individuals.
  7. Strong oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  8. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  9. BAR associations membership is desired.
  10. Knowledge/familiarity with Telecommunication sector is a big plus
