Data Entry and Administrative Support - UNDP "Ramallah"

  • Job Title: Data Entry and Administrative Support
  • Type of Contract: Intern
  • Duty Station: Ramallah
  • Duration of Contract: 6 months 
  • Closing Date:  8 February 2023 (midnight NY time)

Description of Responsibilities: 

1.  Data gathering and entry support. 
  1. Compiles, processes data sets received in different formats from a variety of sources.
  2. Updates statistical series in established formats.
  3. Prepares spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphs and other outputs for reporting and presentation of various data.
  4. Updates and maintains relevant computerized databases.
  5. Gathers data, testimonies, and success stories from final beneficiaries.
  6. Prepares data sets upon request, responds to queries/requests and maintains/updates web pages.
  7. Manage data entry of SAWSYA’s projects to the Monitoring and Evaluation system and maintains regular liaison with project focal points. 
2.  Management support. 
  1. Supporting the engagement with civil society partner organisations.
  2. Supporting the team with paper and electronic archiving.
  3. Supporting the team in preparing for workshops, meetings and filed visit.
  4. Participates in reviewing reports. 
3.  Other. 
Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.

Qualifications : 

Education: 
  1. Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
  2. Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree; or
  3. Have graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent studies.
  4. Field of study: public administration, economic, social or equivalent. 
IT skills: 
  1. Knowledge and a proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools;
  2. Knowledge of standard software applications; and analytical software (e.g. STATA, SPSS).
Language skills: 
  • Arabic and English are required;
  • Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
