Officer of Helpline Listening Center - Sawa Organization " Ramallah "
Sawa Organization is a Palestinian civil society organization that was established in 1998. Sawa specializes in the field of combating all forms of violence, abuse, and neglect against women and children, by raising community awareness and providing remote counseling and psychosocial support to all victims of violence, through the 121 helpline that operating 24/7.
Requirements
- To work in accordance with the principles and values of work in the Sawa Organization, and to abide by its principles of confidentiality and privacy.
- Work in coordination with His /Her direct supervisor administratively and professionally.
- Follow up the work of the administrative and professional counselors in the Listening Center.
- Building an intervention plan to follow up on cases received by the Listening Center.
- Writing reports about the counseling services provided to beneficiaries.
- Follow up on intervention plans, case management and referral.
- Preparing and following up the work schedule of the counselors and work shifts in the Listening Center.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in the using computer programs and communication technology.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the field of social services, psychotherapy/psychosocial counseling.
- Experience in working with victims, survivors of various forms of violence, especially sexual violence.
- Experience in case management, referral, and providing primary psychosocial support over the phone, for women and children.
- Sufficient knowledge on issues related to gender-based violence.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Flexibility in time and movement.
