Power & Datacenters Engineer - Ooredoo Palestine " Ramallah "
Role Summary:
Power and datacenters Engineer will be responsible for all the electrical and mechanical activities for Ooredoo main buildings and datacenters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Data Centers Management of all hosted platforms, including Core network and IT within a cost-effective operation.
- Ensuring Preventive and Corrective maintenance of all Electrical and Power utilities equipment used in the Data Centers.
- Planning, ordering, and maintaining the required spares for Data Centre maintenance.
- Periodic review of Managed Service Contractors and vendors for operations and maintenance for ensuring SLAs and KPI’s.
- Should be able to analyze incident reports & summaries conclusions in pro-active manner.
- Conducting analysis of maintenance reports and outage patterns to evaluate datacenter facility status and propose enhancements, as and when required.
- Participating in cross functional meetings with key stakeholders involved in the development and deployment of network services to define best solutions for existing, as well as new products and services.
- Implementing programs to oversee and monitor progress and success during the execution of the project. Monitoring activities to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Any related duties based on business needs.
- Will be on-call 24/7/365.
Work Experience & Qualifications::
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the same field, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Flexibility; doesn’t mind being 24/7/365 on call.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written), Hebrew is a plus.
- Valid Driving License.
- Resident in Ramallah.
