Technology Project Manager - ACRFF " Ramallah "

Responsibilities:

  1. Technology Project Management
  2. Plan
  3. Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.
  4. Plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades, hardware/software installations)
  5. Analyze
  6. Develop and analyze functional specifications
  7. Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the project’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience.
  8. Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs
  9. Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and integration of requirements.
  10. Build
  11. Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions
  12. Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
  13. Test
  14. Gather feedback from end users about system performance
  15. Provide advice and technical training to users
  16. Go-Live/Support
  17. Keep on top of daily system and functions and data flow operations.
  18. Manage
  19. With other leads, develop, implement, and maintain the Project Plan, including the configuration management, risk management, project measurement, and quality management plans.
  20. Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
  21. Review and manage all changes to the requirements through a formally defined scope change process.
  22. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks
  23. Obtain buy-in from senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes
  24. Define team member roles and expectations, and ensure timely feedback. Ensure that project resources receive any necessary training and are used effectively. 
  25. Vendor/Supplier Management
  26. Engage and assess technology vendors/suppliers/subcontractors
  27. Manage relationships with all vendors/suppliers/subcontractors
  28. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract
  29. Franchisor collaboration
  30. Align with Franchisor standards and planning
  31. Provide status reporting
  32. Ongoing communications

Equirements and skills needed:

  1. Preferably BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years experience in IT management (both IT projects and supporting IT systems)
  3. Fluently English speaking (Upper-intermediate as a minimum) 
  4. Experience in technology project management (project phases, requirements lifecycle, scope management)
  5. Confident user of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, other)
  6. Basic knowledge of databases and basic SQL functionalities 
  7. Understanding of system security approaches & practices
  8. Ability to define, analyze and understand the business processes and how they can be approached via automation
  9. Good understanding of IT support concepts, principles, processes and metrics
  10. Excellent communication skills 
  11. Stakeholder management skills
  12. Analytical mindset 
  13. Problem-solving aptitude
