Monitoring and Evaluation Associate - UPA
- Type: Full time, Exempt, not eligible to receive overtime pay

- Reports to: Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Associate supports M&E processes for UPA programming in the Gaza Strip, West Bank, Lebanon, and Jordan with the goal of improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries. Reporting to (and with guidance from) the Regional M&E Manager, this role will lead M&E processes for specific projects, in accordance with agreed standards and principles. This will include working with program staff to develop monitoring tools, training and supporting partner M&E staff, collating, cross-checking, and analyzing data received from programs staff, and compiling M&E reports. To ensure coordination and consistency across the M&E unit, this position will cooperate closely with the Regional M&E Manager and programs staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, or international development, preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience at an NGO (national or international)
- Experience in data analysis and management for project monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in dealing with various types of stakeholders (Beneficiaries, CBOs, Local NGOs)
- Very good command of written and verbal Arabic and English
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to independently conduct Statistical analysis, in collaboration with programs staff as appropriate.
- Ability to contribute to written analysis for program monitoring and reporting.
- Experience managing electronic data collection tools such as kobo and ODK.
- Technical training in M&E tools is desirable.

- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to the needs of the team and organization
- Comfortable seeking guidance and clarification in a timely manner as needed to succeed in the role.
