Title:    Long Term Arrangement (LTA)- National Consultant for Translation Services.

Purpose:   The office wishes to create a pool of Translators for a 36-month duration under a Long-Term Agreement (LTA).

Duration:           36 months

Location:            East Jerusalem, WB and Gaza (based on each assignment)

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have: 

This LTA requires professionals in their respective fields whose experience and quality of work demonstrably meet the highest international standards. They must have an excellent track record along with experience of working in the social development sector. The proposed professional/s is/are expected to have high‐quality industry‐standard equipment in the fields of translation as well as the following:

1. Minimum five years of professional experience in translation and editing, services;
2. Demonstrated experience in translating professional documents;
3. Outstanding translation and editing skills in Arabic and English;
4. Knowledge of UNICEF terminology will be considered an advantage
5. Proven experience of translation services;
6. Experience working with international development organizations is desirable;
7. Demonstrate effective organizational skills and ability to handle work in an efficient and timely manner.
8. Previous experience with UNICEF would be an asset.
9. Experience in working on children issues and families is an asset.
10. Have a sworn certificate for translator.
