In order to support the Country office in GIZ Gaza, we are looking for an intern with a title of

Administrative Assistant (Intern)

Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:

  1. Support daily operation: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including responding to emails, and managing office supplies. Maintain a well-organized and tidy office space to ensure a conducive work environment,
  2. Assist in procuring logistics to the country office and projects,
  3. Support in compiling, verifying and archiving documents according to GIZ standards,
  4. Following up on office supplies, and the needs of projects implemented in Gaza office,
  5. Assist in preparing, verifying cash transactions, support in documenting the transactions as well,
  6. Assist in the tendering process in terms of entering and quality assurance of vendor data,
  7. Assist in the tendering process of
  8. Monitor, prepare and maintained a routine schedule for the office support,
  9. Assist in inventory internal control,
  10. Monitor shared calendars and inform in case of visitors are visiting the Gaza office,
  11. Communication support in answering telephone calls, intercoms and welcome GIZ guests,
  12. Assist in scanning, printing and renaming documents,
  13. Assist in ensuring office equipment are working properly,
  14. Translating documents from Arabic to English and vice versa,
  15. Assist in performing any tasks requested by the country office colleagues.
Required qualifications, competences and experience

  1. Bachelor student in the third or fourth year of university or recently graduated in Business Administration, Accounting or any relevant education,
  2. Good in English and Arabic (speaking, writing and reading),
  3. Good computer skills (especially Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint),
  4. Fast learner, self-initiator, focused, team-player, highly motivated.

How to Apply:

Assignment: Starting 1 September 2023. Three months contract with possible extension for another 3 months.
