Monitoring Assistant - WFP
The main responsibility of this position is to perform monitoring activities including post-distribution monitoring. Monitoring will be conducted based on the sample provided by the M&E unit. Please find more details of the tasks required:
Tasks
- Conduct virtual interviews with the beneficiaries of the WFP service provision/UN Cash project through phone calls
- Collect the required information and data from the contacted beneficiaries by asking the questions included under the WFP monitoring form designed for this project
- Ensure high quality of the data collected by asking the right questions in the right manner
- Upload the data collected into WFP M&E Dbase
- Follow up on the families who did not cash their amounts by calling those families
- Participate in updating the beneficiary’s information as necessary
- Follow up on the complaints received through phone calls and take the necessary action in consultation with the project manager
- any other related duties
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of a University Degree (social science is preferable)
- Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic languages
- Experience: at least 4 years of relevant experience working in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation
