Programme Assistant - WFP


Tasks 

  1.  Perform specialized and/or standardised processes and activities within the specific technical area of work supporting alignment with wider programme policies and guidelines.
  2. Within the specific area of responsibility, compile data and support analysis and preparation of reports (e.g. food assistance needs, resource utilization, programme status, performance) in order to support operational decision-making.
  3.  Perform accurate, timely recording of data within the specific technical area of work  
  4. Work and exchange information with internal counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing project activities.
  5. Follow up on all tickets received through the hotline dedicated to WFP service provision/UN cash project, take the necessary action by (resending pin codes, updating beneficiary mobiles number, guiding the beneficiary on the delegation process to follow as requested, an issue with the redemption process and complaint about shops /agent)
  6. Close the solved issues/tickets in the system
  7. Provide technical support and assist in the implementation of WFP Gaza various programme activities of (Institutional Feeding (IF), Cas Based Transfer (CBT)- shops- Social Behavior Change (SBCC)) as required.

Qualifications 

  1. Education: Completion of a university Degree in the related functional area is desirable.
  2. Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English  and Arabic languages 
  3. Experience: at least 5 years of relevant  work experience
