Reports to Child Protection Technical Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Handling child case management steps, registration, assessment case plan, review case progress and determine case closure.
- Service Coordination: The case manager coordinates and facilitates the delivery of services and interventions outlined in the case plan.
- Safety Monitoring: Continuously monitoring the child's safety and well-being is crucial. The case manager keeps track of the family's progress and compliance with the case plan, adjusting as needed to ensure the child's safety and best interests.
- Family Engagement: Building rapport and maintaining open communication with the child and their family is essential.
- Documentation: Accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions, assessments, case plans, and progress is vital.
- Reporting: Case managers are mandatory reporters, which means they are obligated to report suspected child abuse or neglect to their CM supervisor.
- Cultural Competence: Case managers need to be culturally sensitive and aware of the unique needs and backgrounds of the families they work with, ensuring that services are provided in a respectful and appropriate manner.
- Revise and refresh mapping services on a monthly cadence.
- Submit a monthly report about the activities and actions done.
- Produce case studies and success stories of children through case management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology or social works or other related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in similar positions.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, case management and counselling skills with children and adults.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Child Protection Programming.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with children who have protection concerns.
- Experience in or commitment to, working with individuals and families from different backgrounds and/or diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge and interest of gender issues and ability to mainstream gender considerations into programming.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good level of English.
