MEAL Coordinator - Tamer Institute 



Scope: The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Coordinator will be responsible for designing and implementing MEAL programs and goals, for the institute yearly executional plans and projects while ensuring the availability and accuracy of information collected in accordance to Tamer Institute strategy and mission. 

Location: Gaza Strip

Main duties & responsibilities:

  1. Developing and revising Tamer Institute’s plans and strategy in relation to MEAL.
  2. Contribute to the realization of the MEAL system into the overall organizational processes and activities.
  3. Design and implement project baseline and end line surveys, Pre & Post questionnaires or other data collection tools as needed and ensure the quality of the data collected.
  4. Analyze and present data to relevant stakeholders, including team mates, donors and beneficiaries on a regular basis.
  5. Prepare M&E reports as required and in accordance with internal policies and/or projects’ agreements.
  6. Ensuring compliance and accountability to MEAL policies, and/or donor’ frameworks’.
  7. Establish and update databases that reflect accurate insights and numerical data on beneficiaries’ and progress indicators.
  8. Conduct random field visits to programs to ensure its execution towards set plans.
  9. Identify potential areas of interventions based on the needs of target groups.
  10. Provide assistance in developing fundraising proposals.

Required skills and qualifications:

  1. University Degree in Business Administration, Social Studies or other related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the community education/cultural or protection sectors.
  3. Experience in data analysis and report writing.
  4. Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
  5. Knowledge in M&E systems, trends and processes.
  6. Analytical and research abilities.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills & English language proficiency.
  8. Excellent computer skills including MS Office especially Excel.
  9. Time management skills and the ability to priorities multiple tasks.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  11. Able to effectively promote Tamer Institute mission, values, and objectives.
