Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in integrating on-prem hardware with cloud computing and DevSecOps systems.
  2. Engage with software, IT, and program teams to design and develop core DevSecOps infrastructure and frameworks.
  3. Improve reporting and metrics’ visibility of the two dashboards (Veracode and DefectDojo).
  4. Define the necessary metrics and fields that will provide observability and decision-making.
  5. Automate the data collection to export into PowerBI, providing metrics to other Security teams.
  6. Produce training guidance and checklists for developers about OWASP Top 10.
  7. Learn how to work with SAST, SCA, DAST, container scan, IaC policy scan.
  8. Learn to integrate the scans into the CI/CD pipeline.
  9. Follow-up remediation with two development teams.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Security or related discipline.

Experience:


  1. At least 1 year of practical experience in infosec, DevOps, or relevant IT fields. Additional training, certificates, internships may substitute the required experience.
  2. Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
  3. Good knowledge of analyzing data and using PowerBI and other tools.
  4. Knowledge of Cloud-Based services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  5. Database infrastructure skills with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and higher.
  6. Ability to work with SAST, SCA, DAST, container scan, IaC policy scan.
  7. Good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2).
  8. Good reporting and management skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications (Azure & AWS).

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

  • The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds.
  • Remuneration for this vacancy will be $1,050.20 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the incumbent.
  • The incumbent will be based in Gaza.
