Firstly: Administrator Assistant


  • Job title: Administrator assistant
  • Post location: Gaza Strip, office in Deir Al-Balah
  • Starting date: ASAP

Job Description:

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor or equivalent, in administration, accountancy, finance, HR or any relevant field
  2. 2 years' experience in the sector, experience in NGO is an asset. Experience in team management appreciated.
  3. English professional working, fluent in Arabic
  4. High proficiency in computer skills
  5. Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  6. Knowledge of major humanitarian donors and donor compliance issues is preferable.

 Secondly: Watsan Team Leader

  • Job title: Watsan Team Leader
  • Post location: Gaza Strip, office in Deir Al-Balah
  • Starting date: ASAP
  • Contract duration: 6 months renewable according funding

Job Summary:

The Watsan Team Leader will coordinate a team of water and sanitation officers in order to set up the water and sanitation activities, ensuring that Solidarités International technical recommendations and procedures are followed. She/He supports the WASH Program Manager/coordinator in overall management of the activities in all of its locations. 

Job Description:

  1. Relevance, quality and design of project activities
  2. Setting up the activities /control and supervision
  3. Logistics and Administration
  4. Reporting / communication

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor or equivalent, in water and sanitation (hydraulic engineering, water treatment engineering, sanitary engineers, environmental engineers, biologist, public health…) or any relevant field
  2.  2 years' experience in this technical field, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector. Experience in desalinization unit is an asset.
  3. English professional working, fluent in Arabic
  4. Excellent familiarity with, and understanding of, the issues of water systems
  5. Experience in technical design, BoQ
  6. Experience in project development
  7. Experience in team management
  8. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office365 and technical software
  9. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  10. Fair reporting and writing skills
  11. Teamwork spirit and ability to work effectively under pressure
  12. Strong organization
  13. Manual skills as water technician is a plus

Thirdly: Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability Learning & CRM Officer

  • Job title: Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning and CRM Officer
  • Post location: Gaza Strip, office in Deir Al-Balah

 Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader/coordinator, the MEAL and CRM Officer is in charge of the monitoring of the activities’ implementation by Solidarités International and its Implementing partners. He/she collects data and provides evidences of the program’s progress and achievements. Under the responsibility of the field coordinator, he/she will ensure coherent and timely response to feedbacks and complaints from project stakeholders.

Job Description:

  1. Monitoring and evaluation
  2. Accountability, Management of complaint response mechanism (CRM)
  3. Participate in training field teams on CRM information plan
  4. Reporting / communication  / Learning
  5. HR Management

Qualifications

  1. Higher education certificate or equivalent, in monitoring and evaluation, international development, social sciences, anthropology, education or any relevant field
  2. 1 year experience in similar position is an asset, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector, or 3 years working experience in humanitarian or private sector
  3. English professional working, fluent in Arabic
  4. Knowledge of MEAL methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques is highly
  5. Willingness to work in the field
  6. Very good communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
  7. Teamwork spirit and ability to work effectively under pressure
  8. Masterize excel and word software (English and Arabic)
  9. Knowledge on Kobo tool
  10. Sensitivity to work with people

  • Job title: Logistics assistant

Job Summary:

The logistics assistant supports the Logistics Manager in implementing and supervising all logistical activities at his/her assigned base. In particular, he/she lends support to carrying out urgent activities and the filing and archiving logistical documents. He/she temporarily takes on the basic tasks of the team under his/her supervision in their absence.

Job Description:

  2. Management of vehicle fleet
  3. Management of equipment/telecommunications
  4. Management and monitoring of IT equipment
  5. Management of supplies

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor or equivalent, in logistics or any relevant field
  2. 2 years' experience in the sector, experience in NGO is an asset. Experience in team management appreciated.
  3. English professional working, fluent in Arabic
  4. High proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data backup and recovery tools, network management, mobile communications, and hardware troubleshooting
  5. Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  6. Knowledge of major humanitarian donors and donor compliance issues is preferable

 Job Summary:

The Field Coordinator Assistant role involves supporting program coordination, team management, and security measures for Solidarités International in the intervention zone. Responsibilities include gathering security information, representing the organization at meetings, and coordinating communication activities.

  4. Humanitarian monitoring
  5. Coordination

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor or equivalent, in political science or any relevant field
  2. 2 years' experience in the sector, experience in safety context analysis and/or external representation is an asset
  3. English professional working, fluent in Arabic
  4. Good analytic and writing skills
  5. Excellent organizational skills
  6. Strong communication skills,
  7. Knowledge of NGO coordination and understanding of program design
  8. High level of computer literacy
